About Our Prints

Each Loom & Living Studio print begins with an artwork chosen for its visual character, historical interest and ability to live comfortably in a modern home.

Preparing historical artwork

Original historical images come in many shapes and conditions. We carefully prepare each file for print while preserving the complete composition. We do not stretch an image to force it into a standard size. Where the original proportions differ from the paper, a subtle matched surround may be used instead of cropping important detail.

Paper and finish

  • Heavyweight 200 gsm paper
  • Premium matte, non-gloss finish
  • Printed using professional production equipment
  • Supplied unframed

Matte paper gives the image a calm finish and reduces distracting reflections. Colours and very fine details can vary slightly between a lit screen and the physical print.

Sizes

  • 30 × 40 cm / 12 × 16 in
  • 45 × 60 cm / 18 × 24 in
  • 60 × 80 cm / 24 × 32 in

Both portrait and landscape works use these paper proportions. Check the product description for the orientation of a particular design.

Printed to order

Every print is produced after you order by our professional print partner. This reduces unnecessary stock and allows production to be routed closer to the destination where possible.
