Frequently Asked Questions

Are the prints framed?

No. All current art prints are supplied unframed. Frames and poster hangers shown in lifestyle images are for display only.

What sizes are available?

Current Pictorial Britain prints are available in 30 × 40 cm (12 × 16 in), 45 × 60 cm (18 × 24 in) and 60 × 80 cm (24 × 32 in).

Are the prints portrait or landscape?

That depends on the artwork. The orientation is stated on each product page. The measurements describe the paper size; for a landscape print, the longer measurement runs horizontally.

Will the artwork be cropped?

No. We preserve the complete artwork without stretching or distortion. A carefully matched pale surround may be included where necessary to fit the available paper proportions.

What paper do you use?

Our current prints use heavyweight 200 gsm premium matte paper with a smooth, non-gloss finish.

Why is my print made to order?

Printing only after an order is placed reduces unnecessary stock and waste. Production is handled by a professional print partner, normally as close to the delivery destination as practical.

Can colours vary from my screen?

Yes. Screens differ in brightness and colour settings, so the finished print may vary slightly from the on-screen image.

Can I return a print?

Yes. Ordinary non-personalised prints have the usual online cancellation rights. Please see our Delivery & Returns page for the process.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email hello@loomandlivingstudio.com with your order number and photographs of the item, packaging and shipping label, and we will put it right.
